Banish Burnout: Move from Stress to Success™
It has been well-documented that stress is plaguing the American workforce to the tune of $125 – $190 billion in healthcare costs. In a recent Gallup report Employee Burnout: Causes and Cures, “employee burnout is a symptom of modern workplaces that are increasingly fast-paced, complex and demanding.”
The World Health Organization has recognized burnout as an illness, “an occupational syndrome caused by chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed.”
The impact of all this stress is reduced productivity, disengaged workers, and increased absenteeism.
For all these reasons, I developed the Banish Burnout program in order to help people at work develop the skills to manage their stress by changing their behavior. Of course, reacting to stressors is a normal human reaction, but often stressed out workers tend to over-react and stay that way for too long. It is the goal of this program to teach people how to interrupt their stressful thoughts and feelings and replace them with more rational behavior.
- Recognize signs of burnout so you can head it off.
- Learn three powerful strategies for managing stress for life.
- Set healthy boundaries at work, to prevent burnout.
Banish Burnout Toolkit™ workbooks can be made available for all participants.
Out of the Box Thinking: Innovations in Workplace Wellness™
Employee engagement in wellness is hovering right around 40%. Full engagement requires creating corporate culture around your most important asset, your employees. Workplace Wellness programs often start and end with physical wellness. That is just the beginning. Mental health is a key component as well as financial wellness, community, and communication.
This program teaches what a full, impactful wellness program looks like from what parts to include to how to plan and implement them. Another important issue is engaging the C-suite to fully support wellness initiatives.
- Learn how to create a comprehensive, vibrant, and engaging wellness offering.
- Customization is key to engagement: one size does not fit all.
- Design and engage a comprehensive champion network and impactful communication strategies.
Fit for Life™: Falling In Love with Fitness
Physical activity strengthens your employees’ immune systems and boosts their mood and mental clarity. Employees that work out regularly are also generally healthier than their sedentary counterparts. This means less sick days, less medical appointments, and overall reduced absenteeism.
Most people hate to work out. Why? Because it’s not fun.
In this lively, interactive workshop learn how to inspire your employees to move more and stress less.
- Learn my 3 key ingredients for making fitness fun and a habit for life.
- Uncover ways to sneak fitness into the busy lifestyle.
- Motivate employees to move at work (neat).
- Inspire your teams to join in fitness activities at work.
